It’s going to be an interesting journey reading how he looks at the smallest things of life and the few principles he follows in days to day life.

 Why Intellectual Property Law ?

The curiosity to learn about Intellectual Property ignited in me since my early years of law school. Initially, IP fascinated me that how an intangible asset can be an important asset for any business irrespective of its size. It is also interesting to understand how the underlying value of an intangible asset can fetch a higher number than the tangible assets in the financials of any business.

I remember a particular quote by Roberto Goizueta, the late CEO of Coca-Cola “All our factories and facilities could burn down tomorrow but you’d hardly touch the value of the company; all that actually lies in the goodwill of our brand franchise and the collective knowledge in the company.” The statement highlights the importance of a brand which has eventually derived its value from the underlying IP.

Currently, I am working towards creating awareness about the importance of IP amongst the MSMEs and helping them to protect their most valuable asset.

Do you believe in relationships and what is a relationship for you?

Yes, I do believe in relationships whether it is on a personal level or professional level. We as a human have an instinct and desire to share our ideas and feel the connection with the other human. It is what makes us dependent on each other even for small things and creates a significant relationship between us.

I believe we are hardwired with the ability to express kindness, compassion, and love for other humans. I personally, love to connect and build relationships with people from all walks of life. Building connections and relationships have become an integral part of me. This not helps me to boost my professional life but also helps in achieving stable mental health, sometimes. I also enjoy learning about different cultures so I tend to make friends or more particularly build a relationship, wherever I go.

Do you feel that we still live in a patriarchal society and why ?

Unfortunately, yes we still live in a patriarchal society and I see it as a problem which is deep-rooted in the system. No matter how much we suggest that society is a liberal or free-thinking, it is the pretense reality that we are facing. Having said that, I do believe that the society is fast evolving and progressing more towards egalitarian society and hopefully, we will be able to cut the roots of the patriarchal society in the next few generations, maybe.

One thing that you want people to always remember about you ?

 Free & Happy Soul

Do you believe in destiny or hard work or both and why?

I believe in hard work, and destiny is a by-product of your actions. However, there have been certain circumstances and life-events that have occurred to me when I felt the element of destiny.
